My Work

My Work

After leaving my abusive relationship, I set up an online support group called SODA (Survivors of Domestic Abuse) a safe haven for those who have experienced domestic abuse to come together.  It is an active group, raising awareness and reducing isolation, nationwide.
I travel across the West Midlands and beyon, talking at conferences and events.
I also use the media as a platform to raise the profile of my volumtary work and to hope and inspire other victims of domestic abuse.

Ambassador for The Haven, Wolverhampton http://www.havenrefuge.org.uk/

I play a key role in helping the charity increase awareness of its work

  • attend events to talk about their work
  • encourage others to get invovled in fundraising
  • ask others to donate toiletries, easter eggs, advent calanders to those in refuge
  • help reduce stigma attached to domestic abuse
